It gives me great pleasure to announce the appointment of Dante Alston to a newly- created position at Going Big Labs – Director of Web Development and Web Related Research effective April 27, 2006. The establishment of this senior-level position reflects the importance we place on youth, imagination and diversity within our community. Under the direction of the President, the Director of Web Development and Web Related Research will bring strategic direction and focus to the achievement of our goals.

The Director will provide company-wide leadership to support Going Big Labs commitment to a richly imaginative and adaptive approach. The Director will work with senior executives, investors and staff to design, implement and monitor the accounts of existing clients while continuing to bring new clients to the table. The position will also oversee the Web Development Department and a new Hosting Department.

We are extremely fortunate to have someone of Mr. Alston’s dedication and humility to bring new imagination and leadership to this vital position. He has served Going Big Labs with distinction previously through managing our charity-based efforts (Blanket New Orleans.com) and conducting educational web research over the last 2 years.

I have found great dependability in Mr. Alston and look forward to working closely with him in his new responsibilities.

In January of 2006 Going Big Labs was contacted about designing a site for victims of Hurricane Katrina, specifically to raise funds to purchase essential items for those suffering in horribly ravaged areas.

Going Big Labs designed and maintains the site for free, while offering consulting as needed. To date, BlanketNewOrleans.com (BlanketNewOrlenas.org) has been a complete success raising over $15,000.00. Please visit their website for more details.

On May 8, 2006 Going Big Labs LLC completed construction of its brand new website. In a statement the president said, “We hope our current client base is pleased with what our new site has to offer, and that prospective clients will like the new look and feel, we also look forward to moving forward with planned expansions in coming months.” Going Big Labs is proud to present “Simon” to serve as a friendly face while browsing portions of our site online.

On November 19, 2004 Going Big Labs received a warm letter of gratitude from Congressman Sanford D. Bishop Jr., who represents the 2nd Congressional District of Georgia, for the technological services which were rendered during his successful re-election campaign.

“Thank you so much for the support you gave during our recent re-election campaign. You hard work and dedication to the campaign played a crucial role in our victory………Thanks again for all that you’ve done, and continue to do on our behalf.”

Congressman Bishop was re-elected with a greater than 70% margin of victory. Going Big Labs will continue to maintain his campaign website and support all of his campaign equipment.

On August 15, 2004 following an intensive online competition, Going Big Labs released its new logo to the public. In a statement the CEO said, “I am very pleased with our new logo, and I feel confident that our clients will like it too.” He also mentioned the development of a new website but said that plans are only in the beginning stages. The current logo will remain in place on all online publications until a new site is released.

On May 13, 2004 Going Big Labs received a contract to provide a full range of technological services to Bishop for Congress. In a statement the CEO said, “Going Big Labs will be handling every technological aspect requested to contribute towards a successful campaign. Our services will include web development, technological and network infrastructure development and integration, research, liaison, and consulting services. We will have personnel on-site in some of the summer months leading up to the election as well. We look forward to providing excellent technological support to Bishop for Congress”

Going Big Labs has already started rendering some of the services outlined in the contract and looks forward to a productive summer on all fronts.

On April 2, 2003 Going Big Labs agreed to render free liaison services to the Korean Student Association of Georgetown University in support of the efforts to establish a new website. Going Big Labs will be working with long-time business affiliate Underdog Software LLC to ensure that the KSA is equipped to accomplish their goals.
